Welcome to the online home of Sikhs in the Quad Cities

Welcome to the Quad Cities Gurudwara’s homepage, a sacred space where the vibrant Sikh community gathers to worship, learn, and serve. Established in 2003, our Gurudwara has been a beacon of unity and spirituality, bringing together Sikhs from all walks of life in the Quad Cities area. Rooted in the principles of equality, service, and devotion, our congregation strives to embody the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism. Whether you are a lifelong follower or simply curious about our faith, all are welcomed with open arms to join us in prayer, reflection, and community service.

About Sikhs & Sikhism

The core principle of Sikh Dharma (Sikhi) is the “Mool Mantra” with which the “Guru Granth Sahib” begins. It states: There is Only One creator, who is always true, is the creator and doer of everything, is without fear (does not follow anyone’s order) is free from Enmity, is timeless and free from birth and death, is Self-existent, and is realized through Guru’s Grace.

Core Tenants:

  • Naam Japna: To remember God’s Name, every breath of your life.
  • Kirat Karna: To earn your living honestly.
  • Vand Chakna: To share your good fortunes with the needy. Service to Humanity.
